Our admissions pass lasts for five days, so you can come back and explore as much as you want. Wildlife Habitat offers visitors the opportunity to interact with native Australian animals in their natural environments. From hand-feeding iconic wallabies and kangaroos to catching a glimpse of the legendary Southern Cassowary or Lumholtz's Tree Kangaroo, the park offers a variety of unique experiences. Explore five spacious environments, including Wetlands, Rainforest, Savannah, Nocturnal and Woodlands, and get up close and personal with the species that call these habitats home.

General admission includes access to standard tours and presentations, and all times are subject to change.
Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas is located on Port Douglas Road, just a short drive from the centre of Port Douglas. If you are driving, you can take the Captain Cook Highway north from Cairns and turn onto Port Douglas Road, following the signs to the park. If you are staying in Port Douglas, ask your accommodation about shuttle bus services. Additionally, you can join Tropic Wings’ Daintree & Cape Tribulation Tour that includes a visit to Wildlife Habitat as part of the itinerary. Whatever your mode of transportation, getting to Wildlife Habitat is easy and convenient.

Visitors to Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas can take advantage of the complimentary parking available in the park's parking lot, which also includes an electric charging point.
The Curlew Café is located in the picturesque Wetlands Habitat, serving tasty, locally sourced food and beverages. The café is open daily from 9am to 1pm and has a licensed bar from 10am, with free Wi-Fi and toilet facilities. Enjoy the sounds of over 50 different species of native birds while relaxing and sipping on hot and cold drinks. The café also offers roo food for those visiting the Savannah Habitat and ponchos for wet weather. Please note, no outside food is permitted.

All of the facilities at Wildlife Habitat, except for the Stork Tower, Birdseye Bridge, Predator Plank, and Swim With The Salties experience, are wheelchair accessible, making it easy for visitors with disabilities to explore the park. In addition, the park offers wheelchair hire at no charge to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the amazing wildlife experience.
During your visit to Wildlife Habitat, you can enjoy a variety of amenities and services, including free Wi-Fi, a gift and souvenir shop, restrooms, and anti-bacterial hand sanitizers located throughout the park. Wheelchair hire is available free of charge, and visitor information and tour bookings are also available. Baby change facilities are provided, as well as stroller hire for a small fee ($10). Children between the ages of 4 to 14 years are eligible for discounted admission, and they must be supervised by an adult at all times. Please note that admission includes access to standard tours and presentations, and all times are subject to change. For safety reasons, shoes must be worn at all times, and guests must stay on the pathways. Outside food and smoking are not permitted within the park.
